ISLA & MAY Returns Policy 

We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, be a full priced item, unworn or unused and with tags.

Isla & May Returns Center 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. 

Returns Shipping is at the cost of the customer unless you're returning a faulty item where Isla & May will cover the cost for the return label. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We also recommend sending your parcel back via traceable post and keeping a copy of your tracking number, as any missing parcels are the responsibility of the customer.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned including the following: 

- Skin care product/s (face cream, cleanser, oils, face masks, serums, mists

- Beauty Products (face oils, lip gloss, bath soaks )

- Accessories (sunglasses, bracelets, necklaces, shoes & hair accessories) 

- Books & Cards

- Final Sale items

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards or Sale items.  All Sale items are now marked to clear as stated on the FINAL SALE collection product page as well as the product description. 

Sale Items

Any items marked as SALE on our website under the FINAL SALE collection have been marked to clear therefore, they are FINAL and cannot be returned to us for a credit note, refund or exchange - unless the item received is faulty. This does NOT include Full Priced items that are on sale during a sale period such as Black Friday or Boxing Day.

Please note we now pack orders under a strict quality control process and video surveillance.

Any FINAL Sale items which are returned to us will be returned to sender.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about items in our sale collection. 

Store Credit

In compliance with Australian Consumer Law,  Isla & May is not required to provide a refund if you make a wrong selection, need a different size or change your mind. This includes payments made with ZipPay and Afterpay.  You will be provided with an Online Store credit less the cost of any postage you paid when placing your order (if postage was applicable). Store Credits are processed within 1-2 days after receiving your return and will be sent via email and has no expiry date. 

Exchanges 

  • Exchanging your order for a different size can be processed in our return portal below. Simply follow the prompts.
  • Exchanging your order for a different item can also be processed in our return portal where you will receive a store credit for your return in order to make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We do NOT provide refunds for returns. If your item is deemed faulty with the style you've purchased, we will offer to repair or replace it where available. If we cannot repair or replace the style, we will offer an online credit note or refund.  All claims for faulty styles are assessed on an individual basis, and the outcome of a refund is at Isla & May’s discretion. If a refund is deemed necessary, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method used to place the order (eg credit card, PayPal, ZipPay, Afterpay or store credit). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

Please note that while every effort is made to accurately display the colour of our garments, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.

 

Pre-order

Pre-order items are items which are not yet in stock but have been made available to purchase as a pre-order. Pre-order items will be clearly indicated in the product name and in the product description. If you purchase a pre-order item, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

  1. The estimated delivery time for pre-order items is a guide only, and is subject to change pending arrival of stock.
  2. You will be notified of any delays to the estimated shipping time via email.
  3. We will endeavour to dispatch all pre-order items within 2 business days of receiving the stock.
  4. If you have purchased any in-stock items at the same time as a pre-order item, all items will be sent in the same package. If you wish to split delivery of items, please put through as a separate order or email us at info@islaandmay.com.au
  5. Isla & May is not to be held liable for any unforeseen delays that may occur.

Cancellations

We cannot cancel your order after a shipping confirmation has been sent to you. If you wish to cancel your order before it has been fulfilled, please email us at info@islaandmay.com.au
